This engine option was available to export markets only, and in right-hand drive form to Japan and just a handful of others. Despite the fact that this specification could have been made UK market ready quite easily, for unknown reasons JLR decided against it. Consequently this particular combination is seldom seen in the UK, and is only available on imported vehicles such this one from Japan. 

The unique benefits of a big petrol V8 over the diesel variants are many, but in short these engines suffer with none of the common weaknesses associated with the diesel V6. Just about the only issue is with timing chains and tensioners wearing or going slack, and in this car's case they have just been replaced with the later updated items, so should never need to be changed again. 

In superb condition and mechanical order throughout, this car presents extremely well. It is supplied with 2 keys and full service history.
